Hello, I’m Corey.

I’m a guy who really loves words. I’ve been lucky enough to write for a murderers’ row of brands and in a variety of formats — including UX copywriting, long-form editorial content, voice, and social media. I’ve lived and worked in just about every corner of New York City, and studied writing at The New School in Manhattan.

I am a strategic storyteller, a passionate brand architect, and thrive when hunting down the solution to the day's biggest problem. I've been told I have a knack for translating big ideas into precise, powerful copy, and my passion lies in spotting trends and predicting how they'll shape the cultural landscape of the future.

I currently work at Intuit Mailchimp, where I lead copywriting efforts across our .com initiative. I joined the team at Intuit after doing similar work at Peacock, and before that, I spent three years as a UX writer at Huge. Before earning my chops as a copywriter, I spent several years in marketing and programming at various TV networks, with opportunities including NBC, MTV, and Comedy Central. I differentiated myself from other marketers in my field by voluntarily taking on an ever-growing body of copywriting work well outside my Marketing Manager’s title.

I like big meals, small dogs, alt-comedy, and '80s New Wave. I am dedicated to the pursuit of making media smarter, funnier, and more inclusive.
